Did you know I actually TRIED to be in Ballistic Publishing's EXPOSE?
This is only the concept design prior to the actual piece that I submitted. I made use of the hijab and gave it a technological spin. I do not think it will be offensive, I hope not!
Have you ever seen anything like it? Let me know if you have. This was done 2005, and I'm pretty surprised it came out well. I think it was because I spent a good deal of time researching the hijab.
Great piece comrade! I love the environment you've created. I'm just wondering if the hood's half organic and half inorganic. It's glooowing. (^0^) And I hope you don't mind, I think it would be a little better if we croop it this way >> [link] . I brings more emphasis to the character for me. I think. he he
Expose. I've seen one in Fully Booked. Is it a book featuring differnet international artists? I'm just curious. hmm
Yep the crop you did works. Thanks for tacking the time to do so. I think back in 2005 I was planning to put some text up there.. but I guess I never did and just left it like that.
I think technology exists TODAY to make something like this in the near future. Luminescent fabrics / circuitry which draw energy from motion engines built into the shoes and/or arms. It makes a nice light... that's all my little brain can imagine what they're for.
And yeah. There are Expose 1 to 4 already. All of them together close to 12,000Php+!
Nice idea! Glowing fabrics are as possible as luminescent deep sea creatures.
12,000K Php?!?! If Expose's really available in the Philippines, it's insane to say that their target market are the filthy rich and wealthy people. I was just planning to buy an issue on Ebay. D=

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
